Someday My Prince Will Come

"Someday my prince will come, someday we'll meet again." We've all daydreamed about a boy at least once in our lives. In your mind, he's the one. The one who will always be there for you, the one who will never leave... but what if he never comes? (Moslty) Every girl has thought that at one time and it's totally normal! I've thought about that a lot lately, ever since I've been to highschool and there's not one girl who's cool and doesn't have a boyfriend. It's not just the thought of being cool and having a boyfriend, it's mostly about knowing you're pretty and knowing that someone else thinks so too! Knowing that you're wanted for just being you. I think about that ALL THE TIME! I think, "Well I don't want to date right now, but I do want to be liked, at least." Truth is, that's how God made us. That's what's supposed to happen. We're supposed to want to be liked by boys! And if you don't, then never mind. ;) To be honest, I've made a commitment to not date seriously until college, when I know I'm mature enough to handle a relationship.
NEWS FLASH! Dating does NOT exist so we can have fun while we're still teenagers. The REAL REASON FOR DATING is to find our soul mate. The one. Our Prince Charming. And I don't think I need that big of a head start! God will bring along the right guy when it's time. And if the right time is now, PRAISE JESUS!
Girls, someday our princes will come, as long as it's God's plan. So pray about it. If you're worried that getting married isn't in His screenplay for you, talk to Him about it. Try to tell Him the reasons why you want a prince. Never hesitate to talk to Him about anything!

Thanks for reading my blog!! Hopefully this helped some of y'all out and I didn't go and waste 10 minutes of the time I could've been doing math homework!!

~That's what's up.

  1. I am so proud of you! You are a very intellegent young lady. It is awesome to hear a teenage girl who chooses to wait until she is ready to date. It is completely possible to wait. I did so until I got to college, and I'm still waiting for my "one". Just remember what Psalms 37:4 says, "Delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart!"
